A Mother's Dance

Last night at about 12am I heard Ezra crying. So I sat up, pulled my boob out to give him a feed and whispered to him "shoosh bubby", while patting his "bum".
He was still crying and I thought a feed might put him back to sleep, or at least stop him crying, then I realised............

 Ezra was still in his cot in his room, still crying, and I was trying to console an invisible baby.
I felt like such a dork! I must have thought I was still dreaming or something, talk about baby brain. Luckily Daniel was still asleep and didn't see me! Although he has seen me do and say some silly things when I'm still half asleep.

So I actually got up, and picked Ezra up out of his cot, making sure I was really holding a baby.

Need more sleep.....
